In EPA testing, the front-wheel-drive X2 produced 24 mpg city, 32 highway, and 27 combined. The all-wheel-drive version records a combined 26 mpg. The M35i version gets close to 23 mpg city and 30 highway.

BMW has yet to confirm when the updated 2024 BMW X2 will go on sale. The German automaker hasn’t spoken about its price either. The slightly updated X2 will go on sale later this year at a slightly higher price. The current version starts at $36,400.
