2022 Suzuki SX4 Design Exterior Interior Engine And Release Date

2022 Suzuki SX4. The current generation of Suzuki’s compact crossover may last seven years, but the manufacturer appears to be taking its time with restyling. Simply said, the current model continues to offer good performance, which is entirely consistent with the company’s well-deserved reputation for dependability. As a result, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2022 introduces several modifications but does not undergo a total redesign. The new model is undergoing another facelift, which results in more aesthetic updates than usual.
The new design, the 2022 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross, comes with great news under the hood. This refers in particular to the European version, which gets the same units as the Vitara. At this point, we’re still waiting for details about a possible hybrid release. The new model will hit the market by the end of the year and we don’t expect any major changes under the hood.
2022 Suzuki SX4 Engines
The big news came under the hood. Like the Vitara, the 2022 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross also came with a new 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, making about 140 horsepower. The same engine is available in a mild hybrid version, while the premium Suzuki AllGrip AWD can also be counted on. A smaller, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo unit is also available in many markets. This small unit produces a good 110 horsepower.
In India and other Asian countries, you can count on a conventional 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters, which produces about 110 horsepower. In addition, you can find the MiltiJet turbodiesel from the Fiat family in different markets. Both engines are available in mild hybrids.

Of course, the most notable changes in this update are the style changes. This is a typical face lift, so the focus is on the front. There, you can find a completely new grill, with the same chrome bars that you can see on the new Vitara. The front bumper has also been modified. The headlights have kept the same overall shape, but there is a new interior design, which makes this crossover look even more attractive.
The back comes with more modest changes. You can only find a few trims in areas such as the rear bumper and taillights. We have two new color options and new wheel designs. The overall look remains the same, as do the mechanics. To remind you, the current generation has been around since 2013.
2022 Suzuki SX4 Interior
The interior of the 2022 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross doesn’t come with a lot of changes. Quite simply, the focus in this update has been on the exterior design, while the cabin has remained largely the same. That’s not a bad thing, since the overall design is pretty solid. The material is mostly hard to the touch, but it guarantees excellent durability. Also, the amount of standard equipment is more than appropriate.
Even basic models come with adaptive cruise control and electric side mirrors, among many other things. In the mid-level Premium trim, you can count on an enhanced touchscreen infotainment system, cloth upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more. Elegance trim adds navigation, parking sensors and chrome wheels, while the high-end exclusive model adds leather seats and a panoramic sunroof.

2022 Suzuki SX4 News
The Maruti SX4 S-Cross is ready to announce its arrival in the burgeoning compact sedans/crossover segment. However, it is already offered in many international markets, but India’s roads have not been so lucky to see this beast in action. He did not agree with the sector leader Renualt Duster in the country. In addition, its potential competitors will be Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano. However, in international markets, where it is already sold, its enemies are the Skoda Yeti and Nissan Qashqai. Let’s take a look at the exterior and interior specifications, the engine and the price of the crossover against its arch rival Duster.
Exteriors: The SX4 S-Cross is inspired by the design of its sister, the SX4 Sedan, which has been well received by Indian buyers during the five-year period. Up front, the SX4 S-Cross will boast LED daytime running lights that should set it apart from the rest, as neither the Duster nor Terrano feature LED daytime running lights. An all-new front grille complements these extended headlights well.
The elegant black-lacquered taillights and integrated chrome fog lamps at the front and rear ends look extravagant. In addition, the curves on the headlights with aluminum roof rails give it a more sporty look than its counterparts. In addition, massive alloy wheels, chrome door handles and rear-view mirrors with turn indicators in the lateral side enhance the crossover’s drive factor. Did we forget to mention that it comes with a panoramic sunroof outside, but in India, you might lose it because the sunroof takes up headroom?
The interiors: Constantly tuned like test mules, the interiors of the SX4 S-Cross look great with luxurious leather upholstery. Then there is the traditional 3-spoke business steering wheel which can be seen on many Maruti offerings such as the Swift, Swift DZire and Ertiga. The instrument panel is similar to that of the Swift hatchback. However, while it was captured without camouflage during testing, it did not include a Start / Stop button, but the company certainly won’t miss it at its launch.
The overall design of the dash is, once again, reminiscent of the Swift sibling and is made in black with silver inserts for the shift knob, air conditioning vents and audio player. On the other hand, if we look at Duster & Terrano; Then there is no problem in suggesting that it comes loaded with many advanced, exclusive and amazing internal features. However, there is still time for the release of this crossover, and in the meantime, Renault can present the rejuvenated version of the Duster compact SUV, which is already on sale on international stages.
Price: It is quite certain that the price of the SX4 S-Cross is over Rs. 10 lakhs, due to the aforementioned sophisticated features and dynamic exterior. On the contrary, if Maruti succeeds in pricing the underlying variable below Rs. 10 Lakh, so you can give Duster and Terrano a run for their money as the former has a price range of Rs. 7.86 – 11.91 lakhs, while the latter also fits roughly the equivalent price range of Rs. 9.47 – 12.30 Lakhs (All prices are like Showroom, Delhi). So it will be interesting to see how the Maruti SX4 S-Cross was priced at launch in India, a country where price is the key to success.
