2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Full Review, Design, Engine

The all new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV has been confirmed and we have some new photos of what this model will look like. If you didn’t know already, this little crossover is completely electric and builds on the popular Bolt EV. However, the upcoming Bolt EUV is longer and should attract customers with its most elegant and attractive design.

In terms of design, the latest Chevrolet design language was implemented in the Crossover Bolt (EUV) and customers get a new design. This model is based on BEV2 architecture, and is also used in EV version. In addition, this platform spans 3 inches between wheels, which results in more interior space.

2022 Chevy Bolt EUV hosts new design language

The first model to carry the new Chevy design language is the upcoming EUV model (short for “electric utility vehicle”). This model will use the same Bolt BEV2 architecture as the regular model, with some modifications.

The platform expands and the new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV looks more modern and elegant. At first glance, we see many improvements. The front part of this crossover is bolder and contains a new grille and small LED headlights. Fog lights are also present and have almost identical shapes like headlights.

The profile has been updated and we see clearer lines and new 17-inch alloy wheels. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not reveal the pictures on the back. We might expect roughly the same design as on the front. This means that the taillights will be smaller and new streaks can be expected.

2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Spacious cabin

The new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV is a crossover on the same EV platform. However, the Bolt EUV platform is 3 inches bigger between wheels, and thanks to this interior design, the 5 to 6 inches space is wider than the regular platform.

Like the Bolt EV, the new EUV is a crossover with two rows of seats and a spacious cab. There is room for five passengers inside and a longer wheelbase means more room for a larger battery. As you know, the EV model uses a 66 kWh package, which is good for a range of up to 259 miles.

Bolt EUV gets a revamped interior design that promises more quality materials. Unlike the regular Bolt-EV, the latest Bolt-EU has a better seat, an improved infotainment system, and a push-button lever. Optionally, there will be plenty of features, and one can get a sunroof, a highly advanced cruise control system and a super cruise system, exclusively on Cadillac models.

2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Engine

As we mentioned, the upcoming 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV will support the same GM BEV2 platform as Bolt EV. This means that we can expect similar battery and range. The latest Bolt EV range delivers an impressive 259 miles thanks to its 66 kW battery. Bolt EV also uses one electric motor on the front, this should also be standard with Bolt EUV. Although Chevy Bolt EUV comes with a 3-inch platform between wheels, it can include a four-wheel drive system.

As you know, the new BEV3 platform is also available for the 400-mile Ev range and is used on the Cadillac Lyriq and GMC Hummer EV models.

2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Release date and Price

The all-new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV is an electric crossover that looks much better than a regular model. This SUV will arrive in 2022 sometime next year, according to the manufacturer. As for the price, there is currently no official information.

However, if we look at the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV starting from just over $ 37,000 for the base model and the premium trim level at $ 42,000, we are betting that the larger EUV crossover will start at around $ 45,000. However, the price definitely depends on the battery pack and the trim levels.
