The next generation 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has been confirmed. This luxury SUV faces intense competition, and the new generation model is a classic “Make it or break it” step. Range Rover Sport HST is the sporty version with dark exterior features, sunroof, steering paddles and sport seats. The CV adds more equipment than HST and is the most luxurious level of equipment. Upgraded leather, electrically locked doors, highest safety and heated steering wheel are all standard. Finally, SVR is the powerful version that adds sporty tuned suspension, performance tires and unique exterior and interior accents. Note that the third row is optional at all trim levels. However, the seven-seat version is available at all levels except HST and SVR.

 

Wide range of engines available

The upcoming 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport offers a wide range of engine options. Most units are connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and are equipped with a standard all-wheel drive. The most popular option is the six-cylinder turbo engine. It comes with an additional compressor motor through a complete 48-volt electrical system. This output has a rated horse power of 355 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. But on the HST model, this engine produces 395 horsepower and a torque of 406 lb-ft.

You can also choose a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that produces 254 horsepower and 443 lbs of torque. As for the new additional hybrid option, this SUV will offer a 2.0-liter four-wheel turbo along with a 105 kW engine. Together, they can produce 398 hp and 472 lb. of torque. Hybrid power can reach 22 miles on full electric power, and charging at 220 volts takes less than three hours. Finally, the 5.0-liter V8 engine boosts the SVR trim level, saving 575 hp and 516 lbs of twists.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport price and release date

The next generation 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will go on sale in the last quarter of 2020. Some reports indicate the beginning of 2021 as a possible release date. The new model gets a slight increase in prices. The base cutting level costs about $ 70,000, while the SVR variable costs $ 120,000.
