2021 GMC Yukon, 2021 GMC Yukon Review – Design, Engine, Release date and Price
GM prepares the new generation of the Yukon SUV. The next 2021 GMC Yukon will be the fifth generation model. It will give a new full-size SUV redesign. This includes many external improvements and of course completely new functionality. The interior gets new offers and maybe new upholstery.
Spyshots are already available and most of the innovations are visible at first sight. While the engine setting should continue to exist, a new suspension and a lighter frame are included. Most changes are available at all trim levels. This includes even the largest Yukon XL variant.
2021 GMC Yukon changes Drastically
The latest shots perfectly show the latest changes from the upcoming 2021 GMC Yukon. This full size SUV comes as a new generation model and gets a whole new design. As we already wrote, these changes are available at all trim levels and the larger Yukon XL version. For starters, the taillights might be the culmination of a recent redesign. The shape has changed dramatically and looks refreshing.
Either way, the new taillights are perfect for this boxer. The next-generation Yukon grille will polish the horizontal tubes. For 2021 GMC Yukon SUV will get a lighter tire and four exhaust tips. Like the Chevy Tahoe, GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade, the Yukon will also deploy the GM T1 platform.
2021 GMC Yukon Interior obtains a new information and entertainment system
Spy shots showed Yukon Denali model. However, GM confirmed that the changes apply to all trim levels. On the same photos of the spy we can see the new light charts. It is definitely a departure from the fourth generation of the Yukon SUV. Maybe we saw the new screens and maybe the bigger ones. In addition, 2021 GMC Yukon is getting a new infotainment system. While it is not official, many reports indicate the cabin has been redesigned.
This means we can expect a new standard trim, redesigned control panel and much more. However, there is still room for eight passengers. The interior space is impressive and the shipping space is above average for the strip. However, if interior space is your priority, choose the larger Yukon XL.
2021 GMC Yukon engine specifications
There is no official information on possible changes to the payment system. However, the new quad exhaust tips and the new independent rear suspension are a good hint of a new engine. On the other hand, there are rumors that there will be no changes under the hood. The 2021 GMC Yukon definitely comes with the same 5.3-liter V8 engine. This engine is standard and produces 355 hp and 383 lbs of torque. It comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox and a standard two-wheel drive system. With this setting, Yukon returns 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
Loading an optional four-wheel drive engine reduces fuel consumption, but not significantly. The optional 6.2-liter V8 is actually a motor for the Yukon Denali trim level. This engine can produce up to 420 HP and torque of 460 lbs. Denali offers a 10-speed automatic gearbox. In addition, both propulsion system options provide active cylinder shutdown and direct fuel injection. If anything changes under the hood, it may be a new diesel option. It makes perfect sense, because Yukon needs better fuel economy numbers and a better traction value.
2021 GMC Yukon Price and Release date
The all-new 2021 GMC Yukon comes at a slightly higher price. The base model starts at $ 53,000. Choosing an all-wheel drive system will cost you $ 3,000.
If you want a bigger Yukon XL SUV, it will cost $ 56,000. Recent changes will definitely improve the SUV in any period. GM will launch the new generation of Yukon in the second half of 2020.

2021 GMC Yukon AT4 changes and updates
Outside the latest 2021 GMC Yukon AT4, every detail is intelligently designed. This model offers an excellent design and looks more attractive than other finishes. We love the bold and revamped interface of the AT4 which comes with an automated dark chrome grille and a glossy black front bumper. The manufacturer has also updated its unique and recognized C-shaped LED headlights with new laser-etched fabric.
Additionally, like a Denali upholstery, a black look can be seen everywhere as on the roof rails, step support, and six-inch wrought aluminum wheels with a metallic gray carbon finish. In addition, the manufacturer used Goodyear® off road tires 20 inch to improve traction when driving off road.
