2020 Peugeot 5008 Review – Design, Engine, Release date and Price.
Most of our readers may not have known that Peugeot is offering a crossover SUV model. Peugeot 5008 was once in MPV with seven seats. However, it recently became a triple crossover. 2020 Peugeot 5008 will be looking at competitive models like Skoda Kodiaq, Renault Scenic and Nissan X-Trail.
This crossover comes with the strength of the crossover and provides good performance. The new 2020 model gets some kind of upgrade. More interior space, more standard functions and possibly a new engine. The design looks attractive, but will not change significantly by 2020.
2020 Peugeot 5008 Exterior face-lift
The all-new 2020 Peugeot 5008 does not come with major changes. A small make-up for the model will take place next year. It includes more chrome details and more aluminum materials. Fenders are slightly different and the headlights have been modified.
New bigger wheels are on sale, and the back remains intact. However, the SUV looks very powerful and attractive. The character is the same as before, looks a little more modern.
2020 Peugeot 5008 exterior colors
The latest Peugeot crossover SUV offers an impressive array of exterior colors. There is a maximum of eight options available. Bianca White is the only standard color. If you want a different exterior paint, you must pay extra money.
Emerald, Nimbus Gray, Cumulus Gray, Amazon Gray, Egyptian Blue, and Nera Black are all optional. The French carmaker offers one exclusive color and a pearly white color.
2020 Peugeot 5008 Trim Levels
The upcoming 2020 Peugeot 5008 is available in five converged levels. Base Active model comes with character and looks attractive and elegant. However, this model does not offer premium features as standard. The safety pack is provided as standard and the standard equipment level receives new parking sensors. The second trim is called Allure.
This model has a more striking design and provides more standard functions. The standard security package is standard and provides features such as speech recognition and 3D navigation. 2020 Peugeot 5008 GT Line comes with sporty style and better aerodynamics. It looks very luxurious and offers features like LED headlights, Black Diamond Roof and smart phone charging pad.
If you want more fitness, GT Line Premium is the level of equipment for you. It comes with more luxury and looks very perfect. Available in panoramic glass roof, 19-inch alloy wheels and smart tailgate in addition to equipment levels, 2020 Peugeot 5008 GT Line does not have real competition. Everything we mentioned is available and much more. More safety equipment, massage chairs and 19-inch wheels are available. If you want to finally get a SUV, the GT is the model for you.
2020 Peugeot 5008 Four engines available
The new 5008 offers the same engine arrangement as the smaller 3008 models. It includes two petrol engines and two diesel options. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic transmission, an eight-speed automatic transmission. For this reason, the 2020 Peugeot 5008 is a highly adaptable SUV.
Gasoline engines are 1.2 and 1.6 liter units. Both units produce 131 hp at the standard equipment level. However, the same units found at higher equipment levels provide up to 170 hp. Diesel versions on top trims like GT can unleash 180 hp. Just like the 3008 model, the Peugeot 5008 is also available with all-wheel drive.
2020 Peugeot 5008 Price and release date
The cost of a seven-seat crossover SUV is around $ 30,000. The top model GT costs $ 46,000. 2020 5008 will come from Peugeot to dealers in September 2019. Competition is fierce and the biggest competitors are Skoda Kodaga, Renault Scenic and Nissan X-Trail.
